Autumn Night

It's a little chilly here in Northern New Jersey. I've got the Halloween lights on (I've got the whole front of the house lit up with mummies and monsters. Maybe tomorrow night I'll be able to get some pictures.

I preached today at church. (I'm a lay, volunteer pastoral assistant at my church.) It had been quite awhile since I preached and I found that I'm regaining my ability to adlib during the sermon. I used to preach completely without notes, away from the pulpit. It's been a long time since I've done that. The sermon title was "Time for the Chicken Dance." Several people told me the sermon spoke directly to them. Thank you God, for allowing me to be apart of that!

I haven't read my blogs all week because I was so busy with a thousand things. I'm going to get to that and see if anything interesting pops up to share with you.
